CONNSTEP Receives a National Award
The award shows an MEP center that takes on a manufacturing initiative to help the public good.

CONNSTEP received the Mark of Excellence Award at the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Manufacturing Innovation 2012 Conference in Orlando, FL. CONNSTEP received the first ever MEP Mark of Excellence Award out of a pool of thirteen MEP center nominees from across the United States.
The Mark of Excellence Award recognizes companies that preserve or grow manufacturing jobs, increase public awareness, strengthen the reputation of the MEP system by taking part in the community it serves. The award recognizes that the MEP center goes above and beyond expectations of development and implementation.
Bonnie Del Conte, President of CONNSTEP, said, "Each and every CONNSTEP staff member is deserving of this recognition — it is testament to their passion and commitment, and I am proud to lead a team that strives everyday to strengthen the resiliency and competitiveness of our manufacturers, and in turn, support the economic health of the communities in which we live."
