Apartment Owners Association of Connecticut Meeting

The Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association (CT REIA), in association with the Apartment Owners Association of Connecticut (AOACT), is holding a July 2011 meeting of the AOACT. This event will take place on July 20 from 5:45 to 9pm at the Crowe Plaza Hotel, 100 Berlin Road in Cromwell. This event is free for AOACT and CT REIA members, and $30 for nonmembers.

The Mastermind Group portion of this event will take place from 5:45 to 7pm and is only open CT REIA coaching students, members with two or more buildings, and/or members who have done five or more transactions. The purpose of this group is to share thoughts, ideas, opinions and information.

The AOACT portion of this event will take place from 7 to 9pm. At this seminar, attendees will learn how to better manage investment properties and apartment buildings. Attendees of this seminar will learn: how to control water seepage in the basement; how to utilize a tax deferred 1031 exchange to buy more and larger buildings; how to never have an eviction again; Connecticut building codes and which properties are exempt from inspections; security deposit rules; the rule of renter insurance; reasons to buy investment properties, and much more.
