For the ninth straight year, the Rocky Hill girls' basketball team hosted a holiday party for the residents at the Connecticut Veterans Home.
"It is a great thing for them and for our players. These men and women have given so much to our country and it’s important that we recognize them, especially at this time of the year," said head coach Peter Egan. "It has always been a great experience for the players and coaches."
The players listened to veterans' stories, handed out presents, played bingo and sang Christmas carols.
