Join us as we spread cheer to some local residents! Each week we will create cards and simple gifts to give to local veterans, seniors, and others in town. The projects will vary each week, but greeting cards are ALWAYS an option! This program is suggested for children ages 4 and up.When you register, you will be reserving a Kindness Club Project Bag, filled with supplies to create that week's projects, along with instructions to create the projects. You will also get access to participate in the LIVE sessions, during which we will make the projects together and discuss other ways of giving back to our community and its residents. Can't make it to the live sessions? That's OK! You can still pick up a project bag filled with supplies and instructions to create that week's projects. Just drop off the items at the library when you're finished.Project bags will be available starting the Monday BEFORE each program. Due dates to drop off items will be indicated on the paperwork inside the bag. A library card number is required to receive a Kindness Club Project Bag. The card must be in the registered child’s name. If your child does not have a library card in their name, please stop in to the library or call 860-258-7623. Be sure to have your ID and proof of residency available to receive a card.Registration is required to obtain the meeting ID and password for Zoom, which you will receive via e-mail. (You will receive two e-mails, one will be a confirmation for signing up, and a second follow up e-mail with the Zoom login information.) Please download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app prior to pre-registering.
