Large Crowd Turns Out to Discuss Medical Benefits for Small Business Owners

Chamber of Commerce holds its monthly networking breakfast.

Medical benefits for small businesses was the topic of discussion at the monthly  breakfast Friday morning.

Local business owners gather the third Friday of every month at the to network, eat breakfast and discuss topics affecting small businesses.

Pamela Horton of Bearingstar Insurance and Stephen B. Glick of Chamber Insurance Trust were the featured speakers

Glick told the crowd about a medical benefit package only being offered to members by Chamber Insurance Trust.

“The number two reason for joining a chamber is chamber benefited services,” Glick said. “You are facing rising healthcare costs. We saved people thousands of dollars.”

Horton also told the audience that they could save 25% on their home and auto insurance by switching to Bearingstar Insurance.

The crowd was one of the largest crowds in recent memory. Mayor Anthony LaRosa was in attendance.
