Officers Released from Hospital After Deadly Shootout During Chase (officer.com) — A Rocky Hill police officer, Jon Escobar, was injured by gunfire during a vehicle pursuit that began in Hartford and ended near the Rocky Hill town line, and he faces future surgeries. Both he and a Hartford officer have now been released from the hospital, while state investigators review the deadly shooting that left the suspect dead at the scene.
