Rocky Hill Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Phillips 66 Gas Station Sunday night. Police were called to 2105 Silas Deane Highway just after 7:30 p.m. A man who is believed to be in his late 20s pulled a black automatic pistol on the store clerk, police said. The man fled from the crime scene, police said. Police with a dog were able to track the suspect to 2119 Silas Deane Highway where it is believed that he fled in an unknown motor vehicle. No injures were reported, police said. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and his face was covered, witnesses told police. The man was also wearing gloves, according to witnesses.  Anyone with information on the incident should call police at 860-258-7640.
