Rain Delays Start of Summer Movie Series

Shrek Forever After will be the feature presentation Friday night.

The weather caused Park and Recreation officials to cancel the summer movie series last week, but have no fear Shrek Forever After will be shown this Friday. 

The movie will be shown at dusk in the Veteran's Memorial Amphitheater in the back of . (Movie patrons should be at the park no later than 8:30 - 9 p.m.) The forecast for Friday does not show a cloud in the sky.

Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore will not be shown this summer. Sorry, to all you talking cat and dog lovers out there. 

If the movie is cancelled due to the weather, the film will be shown the next week instead of the previously scheduled movie.
