UPDATED: Report Details Sunday Fatal Crash in Rocky Hill

ROCKY HILL, CT - Police have released more details about a Sunday morning crash that left a pair of people dead.
According to a Fox 61 report, police said at 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, an officer noticed a car driving recklessly on Maple Street, near the intersection of Gilbert Avenue.
The car was speeding and crossed the center line of the road, police were quoted in the story as saying. The officer put on his lights to pull over the car, and at first, the driver complied. But as the officer walked up to the car, the drive sped away and slammed into the tree.

Both the driver Nelson Viera, 27, of East Hartford and the passenger Iran Brugueras Jr. of Hartford, 21, were killed in the crash.

Vier has a record of previous arrests, and had a pending case from April in which he was released on bond. There is also an additional pending case and several previous arrests for Viera, according to Lt. Robert Catania.
Rocky Hill Police said anyone with information regarding this accident is asked to call Rocky Hill Police Headquarters at 860-258-7640.

The following year, he made "Hungry Huskies," the rapper's anthem to the UConn men and women's national championship basketball teams, which was played during the downtown victory parade.His performances excited fans at area high schools, followers on YouTube and listeners of Hartford's Hot 93.7.
