Residents Wanted for Superintendent Search Committee

The Board of Education is looking for two members of the public who want to serve on the superintendent search committee and help interview candidates for the superintendent of schools position.

Interviews for superintendent search committee will be held on April 3 from 5 to 10 p.m. and April 4 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. in the auditorium. People must attend the April 3 or 4 interviews to be eligible for committee.

In late November, the Dr. Jeffrey Villar as its new superintendent of schools. Mark Winzler was in Rocky Hill in January. was hired by the Rocky Hill Board of Education and will be assisting in the search.

Anyone interested in the committee should send their name, address, e-mail and phone number to Christine Flynn at flynnc@rockyhillps.com before Feb. 27.
