Anne was a devoted mother and grandmother and made sure to expose her family to the arts early in life. She loved the symphony, the Ice Capades, Broadway musicals, Sunday morning radio opera and Bob Steele. She took the train to NYC introducing her young daughter to all the plays she loved and later in life, to the Bushnell.
She loved vacations, scenic rides, coach bus tours, and shopping with her daughter. She loved books, rummikub, setback, cribbage and doing jigsaw puzzles late into the night with a bowl of cheese curls or potato chips. She never drove but traveled to work by city bus, making new friends along the way as she enjoyed the ride. She would take the bus to Newington to visit her grandsons Brice and Morgan who would meet her at the bus stop, hold her hand all the way to the house chatting about what happened that day at school.

Though not a fan of cooking, when babysitting she would always whip up requested banana pancakes for her grandsons followed up with hours and hours of story readings and toy adventures with the boys. She proudly watched them grow up into remarkable men.
Anne was always kind and shared whatever she had. She even displayed her spunky side during her time at Maple View, moving decorations, snitching paperwork or linens, and shutting off the lights.
We would like to thank all her remarkable care staff at Maple View Manor especially Linford, Laverne, and Rachel for their love and kindness. She lived her 101 years to the fullest with dignity.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra A. Labbe and her husband Richard of Newington, two grandchildren, Brice McKeever of Washington D.C, and Morgan McKeever of Cromwell. She also leaves a niece Barbara Dalton of Rocky Hill, three nephews Edward Kozlenko of Berlin and Fred Bailey and Edward Bailey of Windsor. She was predeceased by a brother Carl Kozlenko and a sister Jean L Gazda.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday December 29th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M followed by funeral services at 11:00 A.M at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private.
