Star Wars Invades Cora Belden Library

The Galactic Empire took over the on Feb. 25 as characters from the Star Wars movies hosted a .

Over 200 people came to meet and talk with Darth Vader, Boba Fett, two storm troopers and an imperial officer of Galactic Empire.

Each guest brought a non-perishable food item to the event. Several hundred pounds of food were donated to the , Library Director Mary Hogan said.

Besides getting their picture taken with Star Wars characters, children got to make origami Yoda and Darth Vader figures.
