Terriers Crush Bobcats 66-45
The boys' basketball team got significant contributions from six players as they picked up the win in their home opener.

The Rocky Hill boys' basketball team opened the season with a win over South Windsor at home Wednesday night, 66-45.
The team was lead by sophomore guard Ahmed Hasaan who had 17 points and added six assists. However, the Terriers received good contributions from five other players.

Christian Foxen and Tom Seaver were just short of double-doubles with Foxen scoring nine points and grabbing 11 rebounds while Seaver added eight points of his own and pulled down 10 boards. Kenichi Nezianya helped out with seven points, seven boards and five blocks. Albert Figueroa had 10 points and seven rebounds and Harison Chipkin added eight points of his own.
Head coach Pete Asadourian said the team played a good defensive game and held the Bobcats to only 14 points in the first half.

The next challenge for the Terriers (1-0) will be Monday when they play Bloomfield at Rocky Hill High School at 7 p.m.
