Terriers Defeat Rams, 47-31

The Rocky Hill girls’ basketball team has been through extreme highs and lows over the past two games.
The Terriers lost to , who was ranked seventh in the state, 65-22, at on Jan. 12.

“They are a very good team and should win the Class M championship,” stated Rocky Hill head coach Pete Egan.
Emily Anderson was the leading scorer for the Terriers with seven points, Egan said.

The Eagles were the second top ranked team that Rocky Hill had faced in the past 10 days. The other team was on Jan. 3.
However, Rocky Hill got back on track last night with win at home over , 47-31.
Anderson once again led the team with 17 points. Alexa St. Germain had 10 rebounds and Kirstyn Arcata filled up the stat sheet with four points, four steals and four assists.
The “real spark” for the team was Kelsey Brennan who came in off the bench and “ignited a rally with her defense and energy,” according to Egan.
“She played her finest all around game of the year,” he exclaimed.
The Terriers are 5-6 on the season and will play RHAM High School at Rocky Hill High School on Friday at 7 p.m.
