Terriers Headed to State Tournament

Nezianya, Stoneburner and Foxen lead the Rocky Hill High School boys' basketball team to 66-53 victory over RHAM to make the Class M Tournament.

 

Boys' basketball team defeated RHAM, 66-53, at Rocky Hill High School on Monday night and with the win qualified for the Class M Tournament.

Kenechi Nezianya had 17 points and 20 boards. Christian Foxen played well and Christopher Stoneburner had 12 points, according to head coach Pete Asadourian.

"All the guys had a solid performance," he said in an email Tuesday afternoon. "They did what they had to do to win the game."

The Terriers defeated Rockville, 64-56, on Feb. 14 and lost to Bristol Central, 58-44, at Rocky Hill High School on Feb. 17.

The Class M brackets will be released Wednesday afternoon on the CIAC website.
