Terriers Honor Seniors
Seniors Jessica Lanciotto and Rachel Sekorski were presented with flowers and gifts before the game Wednesday night.

The Rocky Hill girls’ basketball team praised two seniors Wednesday night before the Terriers lost to Plainville, 35-23, at .
Rocky Hill head coach Pete Egan said his team “played very well defensively.” However, they struggled from the field in the first half and went 3 for 18.

“We did not shoot much better in the second half,” he said. Kirstyn Arcata led the team with nine points.
But Wednesday night was all about the seniors and it was a chance for the team to honor Jessica Lanciotto and Rachel Sekorski.

Lanciotto made her first career start Wednesday night, Egan said. However, Sekorski suffered an ACL injury earlier in the year and could not play in the game.
The players received flowers and gifts and the players and their families were introduced to the crowd at the beginning game.
“Bryanna Montalvo, Emily Anderson, Kelsey Brennan and Audrey Oliva all had some nice words to say about the seniors in their remarks,” Egan said. “It was by far the largest crowd of the season, a nice tribute to two great young ladies.“
The Terriers will play at Tolland High School on Friday at 7 p.m.
