Terriers Make Improvements Each Game

After two close losses, the Rocky Hill baseball team responded by crushing Bloomfield.

Over past week, the Rocky Hill baseball team lost two tight games and dominated Bloomfield. Overall, the team is making strides, but balance and chemistry will be the keys to their performance, according to their head coach.

“The young terriers have looked good at times, but are still looking to put together a better balanced team on the field,” said head coach George McKinnon in an email Friday afternoon. “We need both the offense and defense to come together to support this young pitching staff that consists of one senior one Junior and three sophomores.”

“I’m excited to see how this young team responds over this stretch,” McKinnon said. “I told the players as long as you play hard and give your best every game that’s all I can ask for as a coach.”
