Formal grand opening held for Velocity Urgent Care on June 25.

A recently opened urgent care center is fixing bumps and bruises while saving patients time and money.

The Velocity Urgent Care held its formal grand opening on June 25. Partners Dr.Aleksandr Gorenbeyn and Dr. John Yaylagul worked for over two decades combined in emergency medicine and often saw people upset waiting in long lines to receive treatment at the emergency room. They wanted to eliminate long wait times and the extra cost of an emergency room visit.

"We can give patients' answers, quicker and less expensive," Gorenbeyn said about Velocity Urgent Care.
