Ansonia Man Allegedly Points Gun at Motorist: Report

Police said the case stems from a reported incident in Waterbury on Tuesday.

WATERBURY, CT — A 30-year-old Ansonia man was arrested for allegedly pointing a handgun at a driver on I-84 in Waterbury, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.

Police found a handgun in the vehicle driven by William Puro, and charged him with reckless endangerment and assault, according to the publication. The driver of the other vehicle reported the incident to police, and officers pulled Puro over near Plainville.

Puro was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court this month.
