Decision Reached On Proposed Long Hill Cross Road Development In Shelton: Report
Residents had come out against the Long Hill Cross Road effort.

SHELTON, CT — The application for a large mixed-use development on Long Hill Cross Road and Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton has been withdrawn by a representative of the developer, reports the Connecticut Post.
The proposal called for more than 100 apartments, a hotel and retail space, and was to be built across the street from the controversial Shelter Ridge development. Residents had come out against the Long Hill Cross Road effort, which likely played a role in the withdrawal.
However, an application may be resubmitted in the future, as principals suggested a meeting with city officials on what type of project could go at the 17-plus-acre site.
