Derby Bicyclist Killed In Crash, ID Released: State Police

LITCHFIELD, CT — A bicyclist is dead following an accident Wednesday night in Litchfield, according to state police.

A 2015 Toyota Yaris was driving on Route 209 (Bantam Lake Road) in the area of Circle Drive in Litchfield at 9:51 p.m. A bicyclist was traveling in the same area when "for an unknown reason" the car and bike collided, according to state police.

Trevor Mcmanus, 33, of Derby, was taken to a local hospital and declared dead.

State police are investigating.
