Police remind residents to lock their vehicle and keep their valuables out of sight or in their trunk.

DERBY, CT — Police are reminding Derby residents to lock their vehicles or risk losing them to thieves.
In a recent Facebook post, police urged residents to always lock their vehicle and never leave it unattended while running.
Additionally, residents should never leave the keys to their vehicles or FOBs inside the vehicle.

Police also remind residents to keep their valuables out of sight or in the trunk of their vehicle, or to take their valuables inside with them.
