DiMatteo Family Collecting Items For Popular Easter Basket Drive
Jessica DiMatteo, a third generation family member, who works at DiMatteo Group Financial Services in Shelton, is organizing the campaign
While their children were young, Kim and John DiMatteo of Bethany wanted to teach their three children, Anthony, Jessica, and Michael, the importance of giving back to the surrounding community. They felt that domestic violence and the state of homelessness were important topics to focus on.
Now, for over twenty years, The DiMatteo family has been organizing an Easter Basket drive for children in the following four homeless shelters: Domestic Violence Crisis Center of Norwalk, Norwalk Emergency Shelter, Domestic Violence Crisis Center of Stamford, and Inspirica Inc of Stamford.
For the second year in a row, Jessica DiMatteo of Bethany, a Financial Assistant at DiMatteo Group Financial Services in Shelton, has spearheaded this drive. As a third generation family member, she started a new donation process last year.

"In order to make it easier for more people in the community to participate, we are asking donors to order preselected items from an Amazon list,” said Jessica DiMatteo. The most needed items are: tooth brushes, tooth paste, sanitary pads, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, combs and brushes.
