• $5,000 reward offered after 2 cats found abandoned in Shelton parking garage (nbcconnecticut.com) — Two cats were found abandoned in a crate inside a Shelton parking garage at Merion Riverwalk, and one had to be euthanized despite emergency treatment. Animal advocacy group Desmond's Army is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone who might have seen something is urged to contact Shelton Animal Control.
