Local author Celine Rose Mariotti has several new books out

Celine Rose Mariotti is a prolific writer from Shelton, CT. She is a published author and poet whose work has appeared in many magazines around the USA, in the UK, India, Canada, and Australia.

Celine always loved to write and started submitting her work to publishers when she was in high school. Writing is her passion. Not a day goes by that Celine doesn't sit down at the computer and compose her poems and stories and books.

Her book "Atomic Soldiers" is a science fiction story about the Capricorn-29 spaceship on its way to Saturn in the year 2515. All the people who were alive in the 1980's and 90's are back on the Earth again and Ronald Reagan is President. The Atomic Soldiers are an elite super force who are protecting the crew of the Capricorn-29 spaceship from alien invaders. A very exciting, adventurous story. It is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Target, Powell's Books and Watermark Books and Cafe. It is published by Hiraeth Publishing.

Her poetry book "All The Wonderful Things and People I Love" is her latest collection of her poetry-several sections-poems about outer space; about Teddy Bears; about her family; about the New York Giants; about entertainers like Tom Jones, Paul Anka, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and more; poems about the soap operas; and poems about the old TV shows-Bewitched, Emergency, Matlock, TJ Hooker, Magnum P.I. and others.

Her two ghost stories are part of her George Bowman series and the first one "I Hear the Banjo Playing" George appears to his wife Melinda and each time he is playing his banjo and asking her to do him a favor. By the end of the book St. Peter sends him back to Earth to resume his life. In book two, "The Return of George Bowman", he is back on Earth living his life, recording his music, making TV appearances, and he has two new partners. But his old partners, Floyd and Trey keep haunting him. And when Richard Dawson and Mickey Rooney find out that George went back to his life on Earth, they too ask to be sent back. It has a mysterious ending and the story will continue in book three.
