SHELTON, CT — A Hamden man accused of stealing items from a Shelton resident's home was arrested Saturday, according to police.

In a news release posted to Facebook, police said the arrest stems from an Oct. 15 incident during which a River Road resident interrupted a burglary in progress at his home.

According to police, the homeowner encountered Michael Ramchandani, 44, of Hamden, carrying items out of his home and confronted him. Ramchandani then fled from the home in his vehicle.
