Man Charged With Promoting Prostitution Arrested At Shelton Hotel: PD
A man accused of promoting prostitution and bringing a woman to a hotel against her will was arrested in Shelton, according to police.

SHELTON, CT — An Ansonia man accused of promoting prostitution and bringing a woman to a Shelton hotel against her will was arrested Tuesday, according to police.
In a news release, Police Det. Christopher Nugent said the department received a report around 2 a.m. that a woman had been taken from a hotel in New London to a hotel on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton against her will.
When officers arrived at the hotel, they spotted the woman walking toward the back exit with Daqwon Graham, 28, of Ansonia. The woman told officers she had been brought to the hotel from New London against her will and Graham had threatened her, Nugent said.

Officers also confirmed Graham rented a room at the hotel believed to have been used for adult escort services, Nugent said.
Graham was charged with second-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree threatening and third-degree promoting prostitution. He posted a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month, Nugent said.
