Man Charged In Shelton Bank Robbery: Police
Police said the Shelton bank was robbed by a masked man who handed a teller a note demanding cash.

SHELTON, CT — A Bridgeport man has been charged in a Shelton bank robbery that occurred in February 2021, according to police.
In a news release posted to Facebook, police said a Chase Bank on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton was robbed on Feb. 12, 2021, by a masked man who handed a teller a note demanding cash.
According to police, similar Chase Bank robberies were reported in Stratford and Waterford around the same time frame.

Police later identified Ramion Baker, 41, of Bridgeport, as a suspect. During their investigation, Baker was linked to the robberies through forensics, police said.
Baker was charged with third-degree robbery and second-degree larceny. He was held on a $120,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court this week.
