When police arrived Karczmarczyk wouldn’t come out of the residence, Kozlowsky said. He resisted officers as they took him into custody.
He was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, third-degree assault, disorderly conducting, interfering with an emergency call and assault on a police officer.
The victim received medical attention for her injuries and a police officer was taken to the hospital after he injured his hand during the arrest.
