Shelton BOE Hires Law Firm That Is Suing Them
Lawyers for the law firm said they deal with conflicts of interest and know how to handle the situation.
SHELTON, CT — The Board of Education voted along party lines to hire a law firm that is currently suing them.
Republicans on the board voted to hire firm Teodosio and Stanik, which is the city's corporation counsel, according to the Shelton Herald. The board won't fire its current lawyers at Chinni and Meuser
The city sued the Board of Education and alleged that the board overspent budgets for two fiscal years. The case is pending.
