Shelton Company Fights Childhood Hunger With Filling In The Blanks
Filling in the Blanks, a Norwalk non-profit, has announced a partnership with Pitney Bowes, a global shipping company with a Shelton office.
SHELTON, CT — Filling in the Blanks, a Norwalk-based non-profit that provides food for students struggling with food insecurity, recently announced its partnership with Pitney Bowes, a global shipping and mailing company that provides technology, logistics and financial services.
According to a news release provided by Filling in the Blanks, the non-profit is also hosting an offsite event in collaboration with Pitney Bowes and their volunteers, scheduled to take place Tuesday, at the Pitney Bowes office in Shelton.
Additionally, the Pitney Bowes Foundation has provided a team volunteer project grant to cover the cost of materials and supplies, which will significantly contribute to Filling in the Blanks' ongoing efforts, according to the non-profit.

"Every child deserves access to quality food and nutrition that supports their health, growth and wellbeing," Pitney Bowes Foundation President Kathleen Ryan Mufson said in a news release. "We are pleased to partner with Filling in the Blanks in support of their mission to address the critical issue of food insecurity facing so many students and their families in our communities."
The partnership between Filling in the Blanks and Pitney Bowes represents a shared commitment to make a positive impact on the lives of more than 5,500 children and their families to remove the obstacle of food insecurity.

"Pitney Bowes has a stellar reputation for innovation and corporate responsibility," FITB Co-Founder Kramer said in a news release.
FITB Co-Founder Shawnee Knight also noted their contribution will go directly to feeding children in the Bridgeport school district.
