Shelton Gaels Beat Amity Spartans 42-7

The Shelton High School Varsity Football team defeated the Amity Spartans by 42-7 on Friday, Sept. 26 in an exciting game.

The Gaels led 7-0 in the first quarter and the Spartans fought back with a touchdown in the second quarter. The Gaels led the first half of the game with a score of 21-7.

The Gales gained even more traction with a touchdown in the third quarter and the Spartans could not keep up. The Gales had a huge third quarter that ended with a score of 42-7. The final score of the game was Shelton 42, Amilty 7. This is the team’s third straight win of the season.

The Shelton Gaels play Milford’s Foran High School Lions on Thursday at 6 p.m.
