A Shelton man accused of "sharing child sexual abuse material over the internet" was arrested this week, according to state police.
SHELTON, CT — A Shelton man accused of "sharing child sexual abuse material over the internet" was arrested Tuesday, according to Connecticut State Police.

According to state police, the investigation was initiated after nine video files of suspected child pornography were downloaded from a computer associated with an IP address assigned to DeLibro's home. The videos were downloaded from a computer running a peer-to-peer client program.
Officers forensically examined the seized items and found evidence that the nine files were likely downloaded from a USB drive that had been plugged into a computer belonging to DeLibro, according to state police.
Forensic examiners also found additional files of suspected child pornography on electronic devices belonging to DeLibro, state police said.
In addition to the nine video files downloaded at the start of the investigation, 30 image files and one video file located on the seized items met the statutory definition of child pornography, according to state police.
Two images of DeLibro and a juvenile, who officers identified and determined was 2 years old at the time, appeared to have been produced by DeLibro, according to state police.
DeLibro was arrested on a warrant Tuesday at his home and transported to Troop I - Bethany.
He was charged with first-degree illegal possession of child pornography, employ a minor in an obscene performance and promoting a minor in an obscene performance.
DeLibro was held on a $250,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Connecticut Department of Correction. He is scheduled to be arraigned this week, according to state police.
