SHELTON, CT — The Shelton police union negotiated a new, three-year contract with the city that will pay its members salary increases of 2 percent each year, the Shelton Herald reported.

The Board of Aldermen approved the new deal last week, and the pact is retroactive to 2019, when the old contract expired.

This means that the city and the union will open another round of negotiations on a new contract soon.
