Shelton Restaurant Recalls Pasta Sold In 3 CT Stores Due To Undeclared Ingredients: State DCP
The state DCP announced a Shelton restaurant is recalling pasta containing two undeclared ingredients that was sold at three CT stores.
SHELTON, CT — The state Department of Consumer Protection Food and Standards Division announced Tuesday a Shelton restaurant is recalling a pasta product containing undeclared ingredients sold at three stores in Connecticut.
According to a news release provided by DCP, CM Aloi LLC doing business as Il Palio Restaurant is recalling cavatelli due to undeclared milk and eggs.
According to DCP, customers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and egg "are at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products."

The affected pasta was sold in a 16-ounce clear plastic package marked with UPC 51497 24882, according to DCP.
According to DCP, the recalled products were distributed to the following Connecticut stores:

- Shop Rite (935 Boston Post Road, Milford)
- Big Y (401 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton)
- Walter Stewart's Market (229 Elm Street, New Canaan)
DCP also noted one possible illness has been reported to date.
"Consumers who purchased the affected cavatelli from Il Palio are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund," the release reads.
