Stratford Man Killed In Shelton Crash: Police

SHELTON, CT — A Stratford man was killed early Sunday in a Shelton crash, according to police.

The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Route 8 about a mile south of Exit 12, police said. Daniel James Gillespy, 22, was driving a Saturn in the northbound right lane when the vehicle traveled across the left lane, entered the median and struck a tree, according to police.
