Vehicle Crashes Into Shelton Condo, Firefighter Injured: Reports
A responding firefighter was injured after a vehicle crashed into a Shelton condominium building, according to media reports.
SHELTON, CT — A responding firefighter was injured after a vehicle crashed into a Shelton condominium building Tuesday morning, according to media reports.
According to the Shelton Herald, the crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. at the Daybreak Ridge condominiums on River Road. Police, firefighters and a city building inspector all responded to the area.
NBC Connecticut reports the driver was not hurt, however a responding firefighter suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputy Fire Chief Paul Wilson told the Shelton Herald the home was not habitable and four people were displaced as a result. He also said the vehicle was driven by an older man, however it was still unclear how the crash occurred.
Requests for comment from Shelton police were not returned Tuesday.
