Woman Fends Off Attempted Carjacking In Shelton: Report

The victim tossed coffee into the face of one of the suspects, according to a published report.

SHELTON, CT — Police are investigating an attempted carjacking involving two suspects that occurred Wednesday night at Mont's Mart on Leavenworth Road, Hearst CT reported.

The owner of the car, a 37-year-old woman, tossed coffee into one of the suspect's face and the victim was then choked, Hearst CT reported. The suspects left in another car.

Police are investigating.
