Three Simsbury Residents Named AP Scholars

Three Simsbury residents are among the 46 students from Northwest Catholic who have been named AP Scholars for 2014.

West Hartford – Three Simsbury residents are among the 46 students from Northwest Catholic who have been named AP Scholars for 2014. Olivia Brazer ’15 of Simsbury was named an AP Scholar, while Kelsey Baker ’14 of Simsbury and David Kalamarides ’15 of West Simsbury were named AP Scholars with Honor.

Students must earn scores of 3 or higher on three or more Advanced Placement Exams to be named an AP Scholar. To be designated an AP Scholar with Honor, students must earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all Advanced Placement Exams taken, and a score of 3 or higher on four or more of the exams.

Since 1961, Northwest Catholic’s mission has been to educate the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul. Enrollment for the Class of ’19 is now under way, and prospective students are invited to the Open House at Northwest Catholic on November 9, 2014.
