Rescuers believe someone may have doused "Lucky" with gasoline and set the cat on fire.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A GoFundMe page has been established to help with the care of "Lucky," a recently rescued cat who suffered serious burns, according to Whiskers Pet Rescue in Southbury.
Lucky was found in Bristol and tragically may have been doused with gasoline and set on fire, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
The cat is recovering from the injuries, which included losing much of its fur and skin as a result of the burns. As of Nov. 21, the GoFundMe page has raised $1,335 toward a goal of $5,800.
