Heritage Village Theater Guild's 'Love, Loss, and What I Wore'

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8th. It is the focal point of the women’s movement around the world. Its celebration ranges from being a public holiday in some countries to being ignored elsewhere. This March, The Heritage Village Theater Guild will honor women around the world, by performing an all-women, staged-reading, “Love, Loss, and What I Wore”. It is just the kind of intimate, candid, and relateable experience you'd expect from the sibling writing team of Nora and Delia Ephron. Presented in a series of nostalgic vignettes, several women share with us clothing from their closets that have a very powerful and personal connection to their experiences of Life and Love. The story is narrated by Gingy, a wise older woman who reminisces about what she wore at milestones in her life. With odes to black clothing, cowboy boots, purses, and outfits that make mothers cringe, plan to join us on this enjoyable and poignant journey through heartbreak to laugh-out-loud funny.

LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE, will be presented the weekend of March 6-8. Matinees on Friday and Sunday at 2:00; Saturday at 7:00.
