• Several Connecticut towns make the switch to four-day municipal work weeks (newenglandnewspress.com) — Southbury residents should know Town Hall has shifted to a four-day workweek, with offices open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Wednesday until 6 p.m., and closed Fridays. The town is part of a growing group of Connecticut municipalities testing compressed schedules to improve hiring and extend evening access to services while keeping total weekly hours the same.
