ID Released in Fatal Southbury Accident Involving Dump Truck: UPDATE
The accident occurred Friday afternoon.
SOUTHBURY, CT - State Police say Ruth Grant, 49, of Old Highway Road in Southbury died as a result of an accident involving a dump truck that occurred on Route 6 Friday afternoon, WTNH News 8 reports.
Grant was unresponsive at the scene and pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to police, Grant was driving west on Old Waterbury Road when struck on the driver’s side by the dump truck, WTNH reports.
