Man Arrested in Southbury After Engaging Police in Pursuit
The Waterbury man was arrested on Thursday.

A Waterbury man was arrested in Southbury on Thursday after refusing to stop when police pulled him over in Newtown, the Republican-American reports.
Timothy Fitzsimmons, 42, was charged with engaging in pursuit, reckless driving, misuse of plates and failure to carry insurance, the paper reports.
A trooper noticed Fitzsimmons was driving with the wrong license plates on I-84.
