Southbury School of Performing Arts Is Looking For Students

The Musical Theatre Program will hold rehearsals once a week on Wednesdays 6:00pm-8:00pm.

From Southbury School of Performing Arts: We are looking to build this program and would like to get the word out through the Woodbury-Middlebury

‘If you Open Your Mind, Oh the Thinks you will Find!’ Southbury School of Performing Arts is looking for students ages 4-17 to help bring our travels from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus and into the invisible world of Whoville to the stage.

The Musical Theatre Program will hold rehearsals once a week on Wednesdays 6:00pm-8:00pm. All students registered for this class will receive a part and will perform in our spring production of Seussical JR in March.
Musical Theatre is specifically remarkable because it is the only art form that combines all areas of the fine arts: acting, singing, dancing and visual arts. Participating in the arts provides young people with a chance to explore their creativity and imagination in a structured and safe environment. Musical Theatre has many great benefits such as becoming a confident public speaker, gaining critical thinking and problem solving skills and improving literacy skills. Students will learn vocal techniques and choreography.
Come join the fun on “Wacky Wednesdays” at Southbury School of Performing Arts NEW Musical Theatre Program.
