Southbury Welcomes a New Police Officer
The newest police officer comes from the Connecticut State Police Department.

Southbury First Selectman Edward Edelson recently welcomed Mark DeFeo to the Police Department.
“I am pleased to welcome Mark DeFeo to the Southbury Police force as our newest officer. He was sworn in this morning after being approved by the Board of Selectmen last week.
Mark comes to Southbury with a great deal of experience with the State Police. He served as a Resident Trooper in nearby towns of Bethel and Bridgewater. Mark’s other experiences include extensive work with the canine division and as a liaison to the FBI. I am confident he will be a strong addition to our police department,” Edelson said on Facebook.
