Two Car Collision in Southbury After Driver Fails to Obey Stop Sign
The incident occurred Monday afternoon.

Two drivers were injured in a collision on Monday, the Republican-American reports.
Joan S. Griffith, 79 failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a car driven by Michelene Todd, 26, of Woodbury. The incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m.
According to the paper, Griffith’s car struck a utility pole while Todd’s car went off the road and struck a stop sign and a tree. Griffith was taken to Waterbury Hospital while Todd declined medical treatment.

Griffith was given an infraction for failure to obey a stop sign.
