Southington Community Theatre will present Neil Simon’s hilarious play RUMORS at DePaolo Middle School, 385 Pleasant Street, Southington, CT, March 24, 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and are available at Just For You…Country Gifts, 979 Meriden-Waterbury Road, Plantsville, The Music Shop, 405 Queen Street, Southington, and at the door.
The production is directed by Amanda Savio Guay and produced by Heidi Lamberto. The talented cast includes Troy Walcott, Lynn Fusco, Jared Watterworth, Valentina Lugo, Kevin Johnston, Heidi Lamberto, Rob Girardin, Sarah Rubelmann, Helen Crowley and Peter Pristic. About RUMORS
At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get "the story" straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
