Southington Police: Woman stole $18,000 from Home Depot
Patricia Croteau, 59, worked at the Southington Home Depot and would prepare but not submit cash deposits, according to police.

Southington police arrested a Cheshire woman who is accused of stealing more than $18,000 from the Home Depot located on the Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike.
Patricia Croteau, 59, turned herself in Tuesday after police notified her that there was a warrant for her arrest, according to police.
Home Depot Asset Protection launched an investigation after they were notified that cash and change had gone missing from the store, police said. The amount lost was $18,282.65

The warrant alleges that Croteau was the person who prepared deposits and payments for the store. She would allegedly prepare deposits, but not submit them for pickup by an armored car service.
Croteau is charged with second-degree larceny and was released on a $20,000 non-surety bond. She is due in Bristol court on September 29.
