Woman Charged for Toothbrush Incident at Southington Wal-Mart
She is also accused of taking gum, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT —A woman has been charged for am April incident in which about $1,000 worth of deep-cleaning toothbrushes and smoking cessation gun was taken from the Queen Street Wal-Mart, police said Monday.
On Friday, Ashley Villafane, 28, of Bristol, was transported to the Southington Police Department by state troopers for an active warrant.
She was processed and charged with fourth-degree larceny and held over the weekend on a $2,500 cash bond while awaiting a Monday court appearance, police said.

Police said the warrant stems from a shoplifting investigation from the Wal-Mart store, 235 Queen St. on
April 5.
The warrant alleges that Villafane and an accomplice, Shawna Carrara, entered the pharmacy area of the store and placed store merchandise into large pocketbooks and then left the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise.

It was reported that 18 boxes of Nicorette Gum products, valued at $932.64 and 10 Sonicare
Toothbrushes, valued at $186.7o were taken during the incident, police said.
Carrara was arrested for the incident on July 20, police said.
